Breeders Cup 2015With all attention now focused on the Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown™ winner, American Pharaoh, the 37- year drought has Phinally ended! Many of us can’t help but dream about possible match ups and the chance of seeing our newest King continue his streak across the Summer and Fall calendar with victories.

Reports now indicate that the Breeders’ Cup Classic is the goal and there is no doubt American Pharoah will add to drama and intrigue to the Breeders’ Cup Championships.  Four Kentucky Derby winners; Ferdinand, Alysheba, Sunday Silence and Unbridled, captured the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

But, unlike any other Kentucky Derby-winner before. American Pharoah will be the ONLY Triple Crown™ Champion to ever race in the Breeders’ Cup Classic so history will again be in the making.

The first Breeders’ Cup was run in 1984 – long after the last Triple Crown™ Champion, Affirmed in 1978, had been retired.  Thirty years and 262 Champions later, the event has transcended the sport itself but none will be more exciting than the possibility of watching American Pharoah add a fourth jewel to an already encrusted
Triple Crown!

It's now been confirmed that American Pharoah will race at the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park on August 2nd. This mile-and-an-eighth Grade 1 stakes is a favorite for trainer Bob Baffert, as he has won several races at the track. This will be one exciting day in history as American Pharoah will look to land an automatic spot in the Breeders' Cup Classic!

If you missed being live at the historic Belmont Stakes, then don’t miss your chance to see this Champion at the Breeders’ Cup! Be there to witness American Pharoah attempt to become the first horse to complete a "Grand Slam"!
